Hotel Citi Inn terms and conditions
The following terms and condition apply to booking of accommodation of individual persons. Hereinafter, the person that is making the booking will be referred to as ‘Customer’.
Prices and fees
The prices of the hotel room vary based on demand and on time period.
VAT is included in the price.
The reservation made by the Customer is paid in advance. Hotel Citi Inn holds the right to pre-authorize or perform a charge on the credit card for international and national credit card holders.
Making the booking and confirmation
The Customer makes the room bookings on-line at www.citiinn.fi. If needed, Hotel Citi Inn can make changes to the reservation on the behalf of the Customer.
When making the reservation, the Customer is obligated to report all the personal information and the information of guests required by Hotel Citi Inn. If the Customer fails to provide this information, Hotel Citi Inn has the right to not confirm the Customer’s reservation or to cancel an existing reservation and refund the price that the Customer has paid. Additionally, all guests are obligated to fill in the passenger registration forms in the rooms and leave them in the room in a visible location or give them to the house keeping staff when they depart.
The reservation by the Customer will become binding to Hotel Citi Inn once the Customer has performed valid payment for the reservation and has received a confirmation e-mail from Hotel Citi Inn.
The Customer making the reservation must be of the age 18 or older.
Once the reservation is confirmed, Hotel Citi Inn has no right to raise or lower the price of the agreed accommodation or change the Booking Terms. Reservations done via external booking channels, the booking terms of the external booking channels are valid in terms of their appropriate parts.
Reservation fee and booking conditions
A reservation fee will be charged when a room is booked.
The reservation can be canceled up to 48 hours prior to the check-in date.
If the reservation is canceled less than 48 hours prior to arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged. The customer may be entitled to a refund, if they have canceled upon the agreed time slot, Hotel Citi Inn will refund the deposit payment.
Reservations can be canceled through www.citiinn.fi or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the case if the booking is made through other channels, the booking must be canceled from the same site (Booking.com, Hotels.com etc). If some part of the reservation needs to be canceled, the customer must contact the hotel via email or by phone.
For groups, different terms apply. Changes or cancellations for group bookings should be made via e-mail.
The reservation can be modified without extra charges before 24 hours of check-in. If, the reservation is modified later than 24 hours, extra costs may incur. If the customer wants to extend their reservation, it is a possibility. In order to book extra nights, either contact the customer service support by email, by phone or through the reception.
The Customer is responsible for making sure that they have read carefully the cancellation terms before making the booking.
Liabilities of the customers
The check-in time for the Customer is from 15:00 onwards.
The Customer is not allowed to give out the door code to outsiders besides the registered room occupants. The maximum occupancy of rooms are as follows; 1 person in single rooms, 2 persons in double rooms.
The Customer must check-out 12:00 on the day of departure, after 12:00 the door codes will be inactive and will not work.
Hotel Citi Inn is not responsible for any items left in the rooms or the hotel premises. The guests must make sure that the doors are locked when leaving the room and the hotel. If the Customer fails to check-out at 12:00 on the departure day and thus, for example, prevents the cleaning of the room to take place, Hotel Citi Inn reserves the right to charge the Customer 10 eur per hour for each additional hour that the Customer remains in the room.
During the stay at Hotel Citi Inn, the Customer is obligated to follow the hotel regulations as well as the instructions and rules provided by authorities. The regulations are available at Hotel Citi Inn premises. The Customers must not disturb, harass or endanger other Customers or persons living in the proximity of Hotel Citi Inn. Failure to comply with the rules, the Customer may be removed from Hotel Citi Inn, forfeiting all rights to reimbursement or refund of any kind.
The Customer is legally and financially responsible for damages that they have either intentionally or non-intentionally caused to the hotel or to third parties.
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or in the hotel premises. Smoking will set automatically a fire alarm. Any costs caused by smoking (emergency services, maintenance, cleaning etc.) will be charged from the contact person or the smoker.
Pets are not allowed in Hotel Citi Inn.
Liability of Hotel Citi Inn
The rooms are cleaned at check-out and in case of a longer reservation; the rooms are cleaned on every third day.
Any complaints about the hotel room must be made on the day of arrival, so that Hotel Citi Inn has the chance to fix the error. Hotel Citi Inn is not under an obligation to reimburse the Customer for complaints that have been made afterwards. Complaints can be made by calling Hotel Citi Inn customer service or reporting it to the staff.
If Hotel Citi Inn is unable to offer a Customer a room which they have already reserved and paid, Hotel Citi Inn is entitled to offer the Customer accommodation in another hotel. Hotel Citi Inn is obligated to inform the Customer of the changes without any delay. If the accommodation cannot be arranged or it is of a lower quality due to a mistake made by Hotel Citi Inn, the Customer is entitled to a payment; the maximum amount being the return of the entire sum paid for the reservation. Other possible costs will not be compensated.
Hotel Citi Inn shall not be responsible for any damages, delay or failure to fulfill a contractual obligation arising out of a circumstance or obstacle beyond the control of Hotel Citi Inn. This includes among other things, without limitation, fire, water damage, war, state of emergency, natural disaster or a prohibition or decree from authorities that causes the hotel to become partly or entirely unavailable.
